It was said from a source on Tuesday that the construction of Fangxingdu Mall & Resort, located at Xingqiao Sub-district of Linping, is going to complete in 2026. The complex will be the country’s first all-scenario immersive leisure amenity incorporating Song-style culture, Jiang’nan culture, and Grand Canal culture.

Covering an area of 615,000 square meters, the project borders Fangxingdu Street and Yuqiao Road in the north, Shangtang River in the south, Tiandu City’s Aili Villa, Huyinchen Villa, and urban green belt in the west, and Xingdu Road in the east.

Fangxingdu Mall & Resort will be made a national AAAAA tour attraction. Enriched by the old-time conventions, it will reproduce the prosperity of the ancient Fangxingdu ferry dating the Southern Song Dynasty. The project will be the first immersive experience center of Song-style culture and a micro-short drama production hub in the Yangtze River Delta, and a phenomenal micro vacation and tour destination in Hangzhou as well.

To cater for cultural geeks, shopping lovers, and travelers, the giant building, which consists of Ouhuazhou Song-style Culture Center, Banjingguan Conference Center, Travel Distribution Service Center, and Zen Meditation Center, provides one-stop services for visitors in quest for dining, accommodation, sightseeing, shopping, and thrill hunting.

You may have a hands-on experience on what the life was like some 1,000 years ago at the Song-style Culture Zone, like the immersive shows and live-action script games.
