“China Hangzhou” (www.hangzhou.gov.cn) is the official portal of Hangzhou Municipal Government. The site mainly publicizes the information and activities of China’s Communist Party of Hangzhou Committee and Hangzhou Municipal Government. As the public service on-line provider for readers home and abroad, it is the bridge between the government and the people. The portal is connected with a huge number of administration websites including 11 Party organizations, 65 municipal governmental departments and the government portals of the 13 districts, counties and cities of Hangzhou.

The portal was opened on June 28, 2003, first versioned on June 28, 2006 and again on Oct 1, 2009.
