The Tea Culture Month organized by the West Lake Scenic Area’s Party-Masses Service Center was concluded. It is a campaign advocating for traditional tea culture through immersive experiences such as tea tasting, scented sachets making, and Party lectures. The past month has seen more than ten thousand residents and tourists wooing for the events. The Party-Masses Service Center also provided exhibition on anti-corruption best represented by tea in Chinese culture. This is a new way to call for tourists with both Party classics and historical legacies.

The tea culture fair of the Party-Masses Service Centers around West Lake were in particular popular. They called the attention of visitors with alluring and interactive activities, like tea tasting, tea culture education, and other public services. This has been proved efficient for a better understanding of Longjing Tea and the Chinese tea culture as a whole. “It’s so amazing to know how’s the tea culture looks like on the West Lake, and I was even served a tea for a break. Wonderful!” Ms. Chen, a tourist, said.

For effective preservation and dissemination of Longjing Tea Culture, the Party-Masses Service Center of West Lake Scenic Area launched Tea Workshops”, “Approaching Spring Tea,” and the like. You might also find at Xizi Tea Space experts from the city’s agricultural technology innovation and promotion center lecturing on Longjing fundamentals.  

Tea & Integrity Day is another innovation of the Service Center. It uses tea as a metaphor for individual integrity, making the ethical learning an engaging event. Savoring tea is a metaphoric action for Party members to reinforce their commitment to clean governance. As one of the Center’s latest Party-building initiatives, the Tea & Integrity Day is now open to Party groups across the city. You may dial 0571-88189368 for reservations. They will go further by creating more such programs customized to both Party members and averages, said a principal officer from the Service Center.
