The approaching New Year also spices up shopping. 2025 Zhejiang Spring Festival Shopping Carnival, jointly sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and other five organs, will be another drive for a shopping mania. It positively marks market prosperity in the coming year.

The main celebration of the Shopping Carnival will be hosted at Wulin Square from January 4 to 9, a spectacle organized by CMG and Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government. It will be a grand fair covering nearly ten thousand square meters, offering over 300 brands to residents.

The fair consists of five pavilions, each centering about urban specialties, trade-in goods, classic goods, select CMG goods, and imports, and six zones for the exhibition of local, special, traditional, and trendy goods. Side activities for interaction and firsthand experience, such as the pray and stamp collection, along with a photo exhibition, will be offered. The photo gallery will be an eye feast to understand different folk customs in celebration of the New Year across the province. 

The Urban Specialty Pavilion will feature more than 40 sorts of gift packs from the 11 cities. You may get a 15% discount or more on major appliances at the Old-for-New Pavilion. A collection of masterpieces and bestselling classic products will be on display at the Classics Pavilion. The new IP “Spring Festival Buys”, centered around the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, will be revealed at the CMG Pavilion. Imported goods from worldwide will be available at the Import Pavilion, providing an opportunity to shop around the globe without an air ticket.

On January 9, a series of shopping activities will also be announced for the exhibition of New Year customs, goods, and gifts from across the province and CCTV’s New Year keepsake, as well as the unveiling of new shopping subsidies and the festival activities curated by some major shopping platforms.
