Air China has announced the resumption of Hangzhou-Hong Kong service starting from September 15, 2024. The carrier will operate this route on daily basis.
Operated by an Airbus A321 aircraft, the service will be available under flight numbers CA843 and CA844. The outbound flight from Hangzhou will depart daily at 2:10 PM, arriving in Hong Kong at 4:20 PM. The return flight from Hong Kong will take off at 5:25 PM, landing in Hangzhou at 7:30 PM.
Air China’s official website indicates that one-way economy class fares for direct flights from Hangzhou to Hong Kong on September 15 start at 560 yuan (excluding taxes), while business class fares begin at 2,560 yuan (excluding taxes).
An Air China spokesperson said that the resumption of this route is a significant step in supporting the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and fostering economic and cultural exchanges between the Yangtze River Delta and the Greater Bay Area. This service offers residents of Hangzhou and nearby areas more convenient travel options to Hong Kong, whether for leisure, business, or connecting to other international destinations.
