To celebrate the World Children’s Day, which is tomorrow, Hangzhou Children’s Park and Hangzhou Zoo will host a variety of exciting Children’s Day themed activities, including lively carnivals and enriching science experiences.

Hangzhou Children’s Park will offer free admission to children under 14 years old or under 1.5 meters tall on June 1. There will be a grand opening ceremony for the special Children’s Day celebration at the Sun Plaza from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM. The ceremony will feature captivating performances, including the dance “Run, Baby Elephant Fulai!”, the song “Half a Lifetime of Snow,” and the group dance “Journey to the Tea Mountain.” Moreover, the park will give away 100 tickets to the adorable children’s theatre production I am a Panda as prizes for a fun animal knowledge quiz. At the zoo’s visitor service center, educators will lead fascinating science lectures about insects. Children will get to explore hundreds of insect specimens, learn to identify common insects, create their own insect specimens and beautiful insect crafts, and embark on a wondrous journey into the world of insects.
