Deputy Mayor Ding Digang is in charge of urban-rural planning, city construction and development, transportation, and natural resource management.

Ding himself supervises the city’s Municipal Commission of Urban and Rural Development, the Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, the Municipal Housing Management Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Gardening and Cultural Relics (the Office of the Grand Canal Cultural Legacy Protection Administration), the Municipal Bureau of Transportation, the Municipal Overall Administration and Law Enforcement Bureau (the City Administration Bureau), and the West Lake Scenic Area Administration Commission.

He is also the appointed liaison to the city’s Municipal Post Bureau and China Post (Hangzhou).
