Wang is in charge of work related to agriculture, water conservancy, civil affairs, and pair-up with underdeveloped regions.

Specifically, Wang supervises the city’s Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Bureau of Civil Affairs, Bureau of Forestry & Water Resources, Bureau of Veteran Service, Bureau of Pair-up Assistance and Regional Cooperation, Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Hangzhou Seed Group.

Wang is also the liaison deputy mayor with the city’s Meteorological Administration, the CPC Hangzhou Communist Youth League Committee, and the Work Committee of Units Directly under the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee.
