Planning to ring in the New Year with shopping, photo ops, live performances, or the much-talked-about Bread Festival in Hangzhou’s bustling Wulin commercial district? Worried about where to park, and how much it’ll cost? Good news: free parking is on offer.

From December 28, 2025 to January 3, 2026, the “Hangzhou Parking” mini-program will distribute 10,000 complimentary parking vouchers - each worth RMB 10 with no minimum spend - available on a first-come, first-served basis. The promotion covers 11 designated lots with over 2,500 spaces across the Wulin area, stretching from the Grand Canal in the north to Fengqi Road in the south. Vouchers are valid for use during the three-day New Year holiday (January 1-3).

Before exiting the lot, you can open the “Hangzhou Parking” mini-program, select the active parking order, proceed to payment, choose your voucher, and complete the transaction to leave - no delay.

Payment must be finalized before vehicle exit. Vouchers cannot be combined with other membership discounts. Users enrolled in the “Pay After Exit” feature must manually apply the voucher in the app prior to departure, as automatic deduction is not supported.

This initiative marks the first wave of consumer-friendly perks from “Hangzhou Parking,” which plans to roll out more smart parking benefits throughout 2026 - timed around holidays and everyday local experiences - to better serve residents and boost urban consumption.
