From January 30 to February 1, the “Zui Yi Hang Xian · Gong Fu Ying Xin” 2026 Hangzhou Spring Festival Market will open with festive fanfare at Wulin Square. Over 100 specialty stalls - featuring traditional cured delicacies, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and agricultural products from Gongfu-assisted rural initiatives - will come together to offer a one-stop experience of authentic Hangzhou-style New Year flavors.
The market will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., organized into four themed zones and two special sections. The “Cured Delights for a Bountiful Year” zone recreates old Hangzhou’s winter provisioning tradition, brimming with cured meats, dried fish, soy sauce duck, and other preserved specialties. The “Hangzhou Freshness for the New Year” zone showcases premium gift-worthy local products, including West Lake Longjing tea and Lin’an mountain walnuts - all bearing official geographical indication status. At the “Intangible Heritage & Handmade Traditions” area, master artisans will demonstrate time-honored crafts such as paper-cutting and sugar painting live on-site. In the “Taste of the Season: Live Cooking Zone,” visitors can enjoy freshly made local treats like Hangzhou soup dumplings and Tonglu rice cakes, prepared right before their eyes. A dedicated “Mom’s Flavors” section, curated by the Hangzhou Women’s Federation, features over 20 vendors offering regional favorites such as Xiaoshan pickled radish and Yuhang handmade rice cakes. Meanwhile, the “Gongfu Workshop” zone highlights farm-to-table freshness, featuring seasonal goods sourced directly from rural cooperatives.
To sweeten the celebration, attendees are encouraged to follow the WeChat official account “Hangzhou Supply & Marketing (杭州供销)” for exclusive updates on event guides, product highlights, and must-see activities. During the fair, all visitors may collect a limited-edition Spring Festival consumption voucher at the service desk (while supplies last) - redeemable instantly at participating stalls across the venue.
