On October 27, 2026 Xihu District Drone Skills Competition (Xitou Cup) took off at Dalongjuwu. Rather than a single event, the competition introduced a combined format—racing, exhibition, pitch sessions, supply-and-demand matchmaking, and hands-on experiences—bringing together 18 companies from across the low-altitude economy sector. Competitors took on three practical challenges: S-curve slalom flying, high-altitude target search, and precision landing at a remote site, alongside industry exchange. The racing drew crowds and helped cultivate local hands-on talent, strengthening the industry’s talent base, and the exhibition itself brought the industry insiders together, extending the event from pilot competition toward industrial collaboration, real-world applications, and ecosystem-building—jointly exploring new paths for the low-altitude economy.
