The 2026 Hangzhou Aromatic Plant Exhibition and Wellness Healing Season, themed “Meet at Huanglong Cave in a Good Season,” has opened at the Huanglong Cave’s Yuanyuan Folk Garden and runs through October 8.
This is Hangzhou’s first themed plant exhibition centred on “aromatic plants + natural healing,” bringing together landscape viewing, physical and mental wellness, nature education, and leisure strolling. On site, visitors can see more than a hundred aromatic plants—lavender, rosemary, thyme, bergamot, osmanthus, mint, jasmine, and more—spanning foliage, flowering, fragrance, and medicinal varieties, including rare aromatic species seldom seen at home or abroad. Drawing on the garden’s lush, layered landscape of green hills and towering pines and bamboo, the exhibition has created an innovative “Five-Senses Healing Garden,” weaving visual, olfactory, tactile, gustatory, and auditory experiences into the garden’s aromatic aesthetics—so that every step brings a new view and a new scent.
The event deeply integrates garden aesthetics with wellness culture, with exhibition details subtly incorporating traditional Chinese medicine health concepts. Throughout the event, the park will regularly offer TCM services, with professional physicians on hand to answer questions on autumn lung care, body constitution assessment, and sub-health conditioning, while also offering special wellness experiences such as auricular acupressure and walnut moxibustion.
In addition, the park’s Xiexiu Garden is opening to the public in tandem with the exhibition, giving residents and visitors a new spot to rest and take in the autumn scenery. The Huanglong Cave “Fragrance Encounter Market” is also open, and the park’s special night tour continues to welcome visitors—inviting everyone to immerse themselves in autumn’s beauty and unlock a new wellness and leisure experience.
