On January 25, Songcun Village in Baijiang Town, Tonglu County, hosted the largest “Fortune Pork Banquet” in its history - a meticulously prepared celebration that drew more than 700 guests, including villagers’ invited relatives and friends as well as visitors from near and far. After savoring the hearty, authentically local feast, attendees lingered with delight, eagerly purchasing a wide array of regional specialties sold at on-site stalls set up by villagers. The lively event is estimated to have generated at least RMB 100,000 in income for this remote mountain village - giving locals a reward brought by the integration of agriculture and tourism.
