During the National Day holiday, Yuhang District rolled out more than 40 cultural, tourism, and sports events that wove together patriotism, guochao trends, digital art, and rural leisure, having welcomed over 2.79 million visitors in total, with the holiday market full of highlights.

Pingyao Old Street launched its “Bountiful Year on One Street · Pingyao Autumn Harvest” event, combining autumn farming displays, traditional folk arts, a harvest market, and interactive experiences into a vivid slice of autumn life. On Xianlinbu Old Street, red-song concerts, Jiangnan umbrella dances, and a Monkey King variety show took the stage, where old-world charm met new-school fun. Yuhang Subdistrict, meanwhile, staged a series in celebration of the Nation’s birthday, bringing painting and photography exhibitions, live instrumental performances, traditional-style parades, and waterside markets to the banks of the Tiaoxi River—an immersive cultural experience built around the natural waterfront.

Over the holiday, a batch of new cultural tourism formats and scenes made their debut, injecting fresh energy into Yuhang’s cultural tourism.

The Paper Umbrella Museum at Tangbu Village, Pingyao Town, returns to the original site of Yuhang’s earliest paper umbrella workshop. The new venue brings together handmade production, product displays, study experiences, and gift retail, with three functional zones—a production workshop, a study experience area, and a cultural-creative shop—all for this heritage to take roots here for both the public and local tourism.

Jingshan also unlocked new ways to spend the holiday: the Dianfang MOJ Matcha Yinyan Jingshan Space officially opened to the public, and “Jingshan Longquan,” carrying the heritage of the tea ceremony, was upgraded and relaunched as the Matcha Jingshan. Tea tasting, exhibitions, hands-on workshops, and mountain gatherings all come together in one place, letting visitors soak up the slow life of the hills.
