Blue Sky Hotel and Tourism Company subordinate to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Industrial Development Group hosted a special event to help locals beat the summer heat. The ongoing event offers free drinks and services to nearby residents and outdoor street workers.

Community officers also taught elderly folks how to spot scams and helped them install the national anti-fraud app. At tea stands, refreshing herbal tea and free bottled water were handed out to the city superheroes” working under the scorching sun. The group’s disciplinary office also kept an eye on things to make sure everything ran smoothly and fairly.

This event follows last year’s successful initiative, which lasted 34 days. The event served nearly 1,000 people, with 200-300 cups of herbal tea delivered, totaling over 7,000 cups. It’s no big thing, but a charity and free help would be good for the connections between authorities and the public.
