An exhibition called “Nobody” was recently inaugurated at Zhejiang Museum (Zhijiang). Named after and centered around the animated film “Nobody,” it brings the movie’s characters, scenes, and storyline again to visitors, creating an immersive “World of Fantasy.”
The comedy animation is the first one in the Yao-Chinese Folktales series. It was produced by the crew that made the film “Nobody: Long Long Ago.” “Nobody” is set in the same universe as a new adventure.
The exhibition features the film’s iconic settings, like the little pig monster’s dwelling and the “Twin Dog Cave,” and retells the story of his journey beyond Langlang Mountain with the “Quest Squad” to fetch Buddhist scriptures. There are also in-person games to get the thrills on the trip. The room also features concept art displays, photo-op spots, stamp points, and spin-off booths - all catering for people of all ages.
“This exhibition offers a unique offline experience to get ourselves in animated scenes,” said Li Yunjie, the curator. “Moviegoers with their ticket stubs can even get a discount for admission.”
It’ll still be a paid exhibition till Oct. 30. Just go get a splendid mind journey with your kids. Don’t miss an adventure westward with such fun, cute little creatures.
