Good news flooded in at a press briefing held by Linping District authorities on January 16, including the 17th Chaoshan Plum Blossom Festival, along with hundreds of shows and the spread of shopping vouchers worth millions. Linping will be a center of mania on culture and sightseeing.

The 17th Chaoshan Plum Blossom Festival will be opened on January 18, which will unveil the reshaped “greater Chaoshan Scenic Area”. Attractions, such as Xiangxue Qinghai, Mingtang Fuxiang, and Haiyun Moya, will be greeting people with a brand-new look. The blossoms aside, the festival houses a seal exhibition on plum blossoms and a month-long gallery of Wu Changshuo’s artwork “Song Mei Tu.” More fun activities, like national costume fair and firsthand experiences of inscriptions, seals, and plum blossoms, will also be available. 

The Spring Festival is about to witness 70 shopping and entertainment campaigns across its scenic spots, cultural and sports venues, and commercial zones, including over 100 events featuring cultural heritage, fashion, art, spring outings, and leisure. The “New Year Stage” pack consists of 22 plays and 28 shows from both China and the rest of the world, performed by notable artist from the Madrid Mercadante Symphony Orchestra, De Yun She, and so forth.

A substantial “shopping gift” is also offered during the Spring Festival, like vouchers worth millions on Fliggy, which can be used at all A-level scenic areas, hotels, cafes, and restaurants within the district. It provides a discount of 660 yuan off for each person.

More excitements will be available here in Linping. The play “Northward” will kick off its tour nationwide, while new films and TV dramas, such as “In the Palm of Your Hand” and “Lost on Journey II”, will hit screens. The music carnival at E-Fashion Town will see Wang Xi, Yong Bin, Liu Lian, and KAWA, alongside a special concert in honor of the legendary band Beyond. Moreover, a series of trendy market events, such as the Yangcang Market, E-Fashion Shopping Festival, and Brand Mega Sales, will be an adornment for folk celebrations and water tours.
