To mark the 33rd International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Jiande Museum opens a special art exhibition on November 28. The exhibition showcases 197 paintings created by children from 13 special education schools in Hangzhou.

Each piece, whether innocent or bold, realistic or imaginative, reflects the unique perspective and inner worlds of these talented young artists. They convey their passion for life and optimistic worldview through vibrant colors and expressive strokes.

“Special education is more than just caring for those with disabilities; it is vital to a civilized and progressive society,” said a representative from the Hangzhou Disabled Persons’ Federation. This exhibition offers children with disabilities a platform to shine and fulfill their artistic dreams. It also promotes disability inclusion by fostering greater understanding of special education and respect for people with disabilities.
