The 2025 Hangzhou Park Annual Pass will be on sale from November 15, 2024. Annual passes will take effect immediately after purchased, and remain valid until December 31, 2025. Pass holders only need to scan the Hangzhou Citizen Code to enter a tourist attraction covered in the annual pass.
The Hangzhou Citizen Code (Electronic Citizen Card) Version 1.0 was officially launched in December 2023. People can get easy access to a range of preferential policies, public services, and benefits by scanning the code. As of the end of October 2024, the Hangzhou Citizen Code had been claimed more than 3.099 million times and used 129 million times. In order to expand the scope of cultural tourism services and improve the user experience, the Hangzhou Citizen Code has integrated multiple functions such as the park annual pass, temple annual pass, cultural tourism pass, and visitor carrying capacity monitoring in scenic areas, enabling users to access parks and temples in Hangzhou conveniently.
To activate a park annual pass, you need to open the Hangzhou Citizen Card app, tap the Citizen Code below, and agree to proceed. On the Hangzhou Park Annual Pass page, enter your name and ID number, select the corresponding district, and make payments to complete the process. You can tap the annual pass order to view your order. Only online card purchase inquiries are supported for now. After purchasing the annual pass, you can scan your citizen code to enter a park directly. It should be noted that the citizen code can only be used by yourself.
Holders of valid Hangzhou Park Annual Pass can enter a number of tourist attractions for free throughout the year, including Yue Fei Temple, the park of Pagoda of Six Harmonies, Feilai Peak, Hupao Spring, Hangzhou Botanical Garden, Hangzhou Zoo, King Qian’s Temple, Jade Emperor Hill, Hangzhou Children’s Park, Wansong Academy, Guo’s Villa, Mulan Hill Tea Garden, and Yunqi Park. In some scenic areas, additional fees are charged during large-scale exhibitions in accordance with the regulations of the competent department for pricing. For Huanglong Cave, Chenghuang Pavilion, and the Former Residence of Hu Xueyan, the price difference needs to be paid in accordance with the relevant regulations of the competent department for pricing. The park annual pass does not apply to the Three Islands of West Lake, Pagoda of Six Harmonies, the West Lake Night Cruise, etc. The scope of use is subject to policy adjustments and shall be implemented as per the latest policies.
In addition, holders of valid park annual passes are entitled to free admission to or preferential prices for Xixi National Wetland Park and some scenic areas in Deqing County. Specifically, cardholders can visit Xinshi Ancient Town for free throughout the year. For visits to Mogan Mountain in Deqing County, attractions in Xiazhu Lake, Shangzhu Mountain Fantasy Valley, and Geographic Information Town, a price difference equal to half of the admission fee is required. For a tour of OSM Pearl Town, a RMB15 fee is required. The above preferential policies and specific rules on use (subject to local announcements) are applicable only in 2025.
