Following the Ministry of Commerce’s on-site meeting, the Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone would welcome another heavyweight summit, that is, the “Rising Tide of Qiantang” Global Cross-border E-commerce Summit hosted on June 11 at the Whitehorse Lake International Exhibition Center.
Themed on “high quality and globalization,” the summit would feature the opening ceremony, the main forum and three sub-forums. At the summit, industry insiders and platforms and heads of enterprises would look into the demands of overseas market in 2023 from the perspectives of policies and operational practices, offering suggestions for cross-border e-commerce enterprises and assisting them in going global and building Chinese brands.
At the opening ceremony, Long Yongtu, former Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, former Chairman and Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia, Co-Chairman of Global CEO Conference, President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), would deliver a keynote speech “Cross-border E-commerce Leads Going Global Efforts and Globalization and Innovation.” Also, the summit would release the “Development Report of New Capital of E-commerce,” showcasing Hangzhou’s cross-border e-commerce achievements and future plan.
Xu Ningning, Executive President of China-ASEAN Business Council, Chairman of the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee, and China’s chief expert of ASEAN businesses would describe in detail the role of cross-border e-commerce in boosting “Belt and Road” industrial upgrading. Wang Licheng, Chairman of the Board of Holley Group would give a keynote speech “Cross-border E-commerce and Production Capacity Cooperation Worldwide” from the perspective of supply chain. Yu Yong, President of 1688, Taotian Group and Song Xiaojun, Vice President of Amazon China, and Head of Chinese Seller Development for Amazon Global Selling would further interpret e-commerce platforms.
Three sub-forums on industrial innovation, industrial innovation and development in emerging market, and category innovation and development would be set up. Enterprise representatives and investors of cross-border e-commerce would discuss the development trends of cross-border e-commerce from diverse perspectives such as digitization, intelligent logistics, collaborative manufacturing, and channel innovation, share their experience in the cross-border e-commerce field and help more enterprises to go global and strengthen their brand influence.
At the same time, the 10th China (Hangzhou) International E-commerce Expo, themed on “the capital of e-commerce,” would also be held between June 10 and 12 at the Whitehorse Lake International Exhibition Center.
