Wintersweet flowers blossom around 10 days later than previous years in Hangzhou Botanical Garden, said a staff worker from the garden. Due to abrupt drop of temperature, many leaves on the tree are still yellow or even green. There are more than 40 varieties of wintersweet in 1,200 clusters in the garden. The flowers just began to blossom and can be seen in the Pinmei Garden and Wintersweet Garden of the Lingfeng Wintersweet-Admiring Region. There are also wintersweet bonsai in the Bonsai Garden where visitors can have close-up photos of the flowers.
