On April 23, an exhibition centering upon the cloud-based immersive interactive science education, titled “From Baicao Garden to Sanwei Study”, was inaugurated at Hangzhou Public Library. To help explore the wild nature, the exhibition aims to offer a holistic view of science education in a brand-new form. 

Built upon Shutong Metaverse Library’s cloud-based interactive system, the exhibition spans a range of topics such as Chinese herbal pharmacopoeia, super fauna and flora, insects and dinosaurs. MR, VR and AI devices enable the audience to stand right within a floor, while immersed in a world conversably filled with sciences across a spectrum of domains. For them, the experience is only a QR Code away.

The exhibition walks people through spacecrafts, flora and fauna, herbs and intangible heritages. This is a barrier-free and immersive experience, enabling them to access global histories and cultures, bridging the gap between the library and visitors, and providing a new learning hub that makes public science education so interesting .

The offline exhibition runs until April 29.
