Hangzhou Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics is a statistics law enforcement organization as well as government statistics organization. Responsible for  authenticity of its statistics, Hangzhou Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics  conducts statistics surveys and supervision independently, and reports statistics results to the National Bureau of Statistics and Zhejiang General Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics independently. 

1. Completes tasks delegated by the National Bureau of Statistics.

2. Assists local statistics bureaus to do census on major national conditions and national capability. 

3. Organizes, instructs local survey teams on their work.

4. Authorized by Zhejiang General Survey Team, it manages county-level survey teams in the administrative region.

5. Tackles legal violations in statistics survey activities by law.

6. Takes on work related to informatization. 

7. Responsible for Party building, discipline supervision and cadre management of the survey teams. 

8. Takes on local statistics survey tasks delegated by local Party committees, governments and Zhejiang General Survey Team. 

9. Completes other tasks delegated by the National Bureau of Statistics and Zhejiang General Survey Team.
