The Municipal Conventions and Exhibitions Office is the permanent agency for the West Lake Expo Organization Committee, and a bureau-level institution directly affiliated to the Municipal Government. 1. Responsible for coordinating general planning and routine work for the West Lake Expo. 2. Reviews project applications for the West Lake Expo. Instructs on, supervises implementation of such projects. 3. Responsible for raising funds for the West Lake Expo. Manages funds, assets and investments for the West Lake Expo. 4. Does routine work for the West Lake Expo Organization Committee. Leads, coordinates work of units under the Organization Committee. 5. Researches, makes development plans for the city’s convention and exhibition sector. Researches, drafts regional rules, regulations for the sector as delegated. Organizes details for major conventions, exhibitions and festivities. 6. Responsible for organizing, instructing on, coordinating and managing major conventions, exhibitions and festivities. Organizes foreign exchange, cooperation for conventions, exhibitions and festivities. 7. Completes other tasks as delegated by the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee, Hangzhou Municipal Government and the West Lake Expo Organization Committee. |
