Qianjiang New City Administration Committee is mainly responsible for project development, construction and management in the Qianjiang New City region.

1. Designs the core urban areas with high standards from an above-average starting point, based on conceptual designs and controlled development regulations as well as the requirements for reasonable layout and complete infrastructure. 

2. Takes on the “self-loan, self-construction, self-transfer and self-repayment” responsibilities. 

3. Responsible for infrastructure construction for Qianjiang River New City. Makes overall plans for such construction based on its actual needs. 

4. Makes policies to introduce investments to the new city based on policies of the nation and the province.
