Deputy Mayor Sun is in charge of work related to industry, information technology, digital reform and foreign affairs.

Sun himself supervises the city’s Economy and Information Technology Commission, Foreign Affairs Office (Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office), Data Resource Bureau, Qiantang New District Administration Commission and High-Tech Development Zone Administrative Committee.

The Deputy Mayor is the liaison to the city’s Taiwan Affairs Office, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Federation of Industry and Commerce, State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply, Tobacco Bureau, China Telecom Hangzhou, China Mobile Hangzhou, China Unicom Hangzhou, Sinopec Hangzhou, CNPC Hangzhou and China Tower Hangzhou.
