Warm breezes bring with it beautiful spring, and it's time for an outing. At the Dongshan village by the thousand-year-old ancient Heshang town in Xiaoshan District in the “South Garden of Hangzhou”, a newly opened orchard has attracted many visitors.
The orchard is located in the hilly area of southern Xiaoshan, surrounded by hills on four sides, including West Hill, Baiguo Hill, Daolin Hill and Pingfeng Hill, with diverse terrain types and lush vegetation. The Yongxing River flows slowly between the hills. The water quality is excellent, and the original ecological environment has been well preserved.
The orchard covers an area of 210 mu (14 hectares), with various amusement facilities such as the farming experience zone, Chinese restaurant, cute pets zone, fruit picking area, tropical fruit greenhouse, and pleasure boats.
The orchard is a flagship project of Hangzhou Haonan Agricultural Development Company. Relying on modern agriculture, the orchard combines rural tourism with learning to bring about comprehensive modern agriculture with both entertainment and learning functions.
