The West Lake scenic area has resumed its night boat tours. Baoshifang, the boat world leaders took during the Hangzhou G20 Summit, surely draws the most attention. It operates from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm May 13 through the end of October. Tickets are for sale at the Youth Palace Dock (call 87068226 for more information).

Baoshifang passes by the Bai Causeway, Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake, the Su Causeway, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (stay for 5 minutes), Leifeng Pagoda (near Xizi Hotel), Orioles Singing in the Willows, and the music fountain. The 50-minute tour costs CNY 90 per seat (including a small gift and an art performance; half price for children between 1.2m and 1.5m).

The dragon boat Quannao, which starts from the Lakeside No.2 Park Dock, is open to visitors for the same hours and operates the same route as Baoshifang. It costs CNY 90 per seat as well.

Compared to the two boats mentioned above, smaller pleasure boat tours cost only CNY 50 but do not offer gifts. They all leave from the No.5 Park Dock and pass the music fountain, the Bai Causeway, Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake, the Su Causeway, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (stay for 5 minutes), and Orioles Singing in the Willows. Please call 87028153 for more information.

The West Lake scenic area reminds that travelers should produce their health codes, keep social distance, and wear masks.
