Suning launched its “Singles’ Day Carnival” on Oct 26. At the press conference, Suning started the Singles’ Day pre-sale, which offers more than 100,000 types of products by more than 1,000 brands, including those for mobile phones, digital products, cosmetics, cars, and real estate developers.
The group buying unit of Suning, along with its 30,000 merchants, 60 village partners, 71 OEMs, and 35 industry belts, will provide another 100,000 plus types of products including small home appliances, fresh produce, cosmetics, and clothes. Suning will cooperate with 1,000 overseas buyers to sell imported products.
This year, consumers are allowed to make payments on Oct 31-Nov 3 as well as Nov 11 the big promotion day after placing orders on Oct 26, whereas such payments are only accepted on Nov 11 in the previous year’s promotion.
Moreover, Suning introduced an innovative service on the same day, which allows consumers to return the products no-hassle within seven days of receiving them and with no payment needed for delivery to Suning. They will receive refunds immediately after the product return gets approved.
