On May 8, Finland’s Oulu city promoted its tourism in Hangzhou, one of a series of activities to help the city’s people become aware of tourist destinations around the world, at Hangzhou Library. Over 40 travel agencies of the city sent representatives to attend the activity, seeking cooperation and civilian exchange.
Oulu is the largest city in north Finland. Located inside the Arctic Circle, Oulu has unique and charming views. It is home to famous companies including Nokia, and has world-leading energy exploration technologies.
Oulu became Hangzhou’s first north European sister city on Oct. 13, 2011. The promo activity was fully seated on Monday. Officials from Oulu’s tourism administration introduced its travel resources in this arctic and mystic city in very plain language, just like the 25 photos exhibited about its urban area, nature and wild lives.
